Of the approximately $3 trillion spent on energy in the U.S., approximately 56 percent - or $1.68 trillion - is lost due to inefficiency at some point in the supply chain.

Solving the world’s energy problems is one of the greatest challenges of the century and significant breakthroughs in science and technology will be required.

NanoHoldings believes the promise of nanotechnology provides fertile ground for such breakthroughs. Nanotechnology is changing the energy landscape in many areas, including biofuels, bioenergy, biomaterials and fuel cells, coal conversion and carbon dioxide management technologies, and materials for energy efficiency.

We believe that economic and political factors will lead to “the perfect storm” in the next 4-5 years, where investment in nano-energy may be highly productive. We currently work with several corporate partners that include oil service companies.

TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER OFFICES/INVENTORS
NanoHoldings invites university technology transfer officers and faculty inventors to send us an executive summary, business plan or presentation that describes your nano-energy idea. Please contact us at idea@nanoholdings.com.
